about

THINK was written and recorded very quickly, from June 10 - June 22 2017. I received a new guitar as a gift, and I was really inspired to write with it, and blend it with other guitars. The first mix had the basic song structure with a different chorus. By the time of mix 4, within a week of mix 1, all the parts were re-recorded with a re-written chorus. Within five days, rough mix 5 contained the final sound, the piano. The majority of the recording and arrangement was completed within those 2 weeks.
It was mixed last summer in July 2022. The arrangement and overdubs were finished during the mix.
It was mastered in January 2023.

lyrics

THINK.

think
don't let you mind go to waste
take
what's between your eyes

feel
don't let your life leave you behind
love
don't neglect your feelings until you're blind

hey
now i know
what has meaning to
me
now i know what feeling i
need
i would have you near me
again
i would have you near me again

think
contemplate the weather change
take
keep your love where it will be safe

think
don't let you time go to waste
take
what's between your eyes

i would
have you near me again
i would
have you near me again
